High-Temp Industries is your source of precision flexible heaters. Flexible heating elements have a wide range
of industrial, commercial and military applications where accuracy,
reliability, and resistance to deterioration are critical. Silicone heaters are the most widely used, with a temperature rating from –70°F to +450°F. Silicone rubber resists radiation, moisture,
compression setting, weathering, fungus, oils, solvents and chemical degradation. Kapton polyimide heaters are designed for very precise applications such
as satellites and aerospace equipment. They can be used from –328°F to +392°F, are
self-extinguishing, have excellent out-gasing properties in high vacuum
environments, are double the tensile strength of fiberglass, are 50% lighter
than silicone and are not affected by solvents or fluids. Various mechanical fastenings are available,
including pressure-sensitive adhesives. We
offer both silicon and Kapton heaters with several control device options,
including thermostats, thermocouples, RTDs and thermal fuses. High-Temp
Industries’ flexible heaters can be supplied in standard off-the-shelf
configurations or custom designed to your size, voltage or wattage specifications. All of our heaters undergo rigid quality assurance and control testing,
as well as come with a 2-year warranty.
